Meet Singapore’s Veggie Farming Family

Generations | 3:51 mins

In 1998, Papa Chai decided to turn his humble vegetable garden into an organic farm called Fireflies Health Farm. You won’t find any fireflies there but rows and rows of pesticide-free vegetables that the family of 5 grows together. Bringing the produce from the farm to the table, these vegetables are used in making Lei Cha (Thunder Tea Rice), a traditional Hakka dish that the family sells.
